British rock band Muse will perform at Lisboa's MEO Arena on 10 January 2027, as part of an extended European tour announced by promoter Live Nation. General ticket sales open on 8 October at 9h00, following a pre-sale that began on 6 October. Tickets will be available through MEO Blueticket.
The three-piece band — Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme — added eight extra dates across January 2027 to meet demand. The Lisbon stop is followed by concerts in France and Spain, including shows in Bordeaux, Lyon, Madrid and Valência.
The tour supports the band's tenth studio album, "The Wow! Signal", released in June 2026. The title references the famous "Wow! signal" — a 72-second radio signal detected on 15 August 1977 by the Big Ear radio telescope at Ohio State University, which originated from the direction of the constellation Sagittarius and remains unexplained.
Muse last performed in Portugal at the NOS Alive festival in Oeiras on 12 July 2025, stepping in as replacements for Kings of Leon. The set included hits such as "Uprising" and "Time Is Running Out", along with newer material.
